1. Travel in Marrakech - Shopping at the Medina souk

Must do during your trip in Morocco to buy souvenirs or simply for the atmosphere, you will find souks everywhere in the medina and in particular near the Jemaa El Fna square. You will have the opportunity to see many handcrafted products such as teapots, pretty lanterns, djellabas, babouches and many other things.

2. Travel in Marrakech - Visit The Majorelle Garden

The Majorelle garden is a colorful place where you will be transported into a sublime universe! And the contrast is striking between the ocher color which is omnipresent in Marrakech and the superb blue of the garden which is also called Majorelle blue. The effect is also sought after and the Majorelle garden is like an oasis in the middle of the desert.

For the record, after the death of Yves Saint Laurent in 2008 (peace in his soul), his ashes were scattered in the garden in a symbolic gesture. In 2011, we added a Berber art museum which is also worth a detour.

3. Travel in Marrakech - Discover the Koutoubia Mosque

Literally means the "booksellers' mosque", the Koutoubia mosque is the most important religious building in the city of Marrakech. Built in the 12th century, it has a superb minaret 69 meters high and it has a pink color which blends beautifully with the decor

4. Travel in Marrakech - Visit the Bahia Palace

Unlike the Koutoubia Mosque, which unfortunately cannot be visited unless you are a Muslim, the Bahia Palace is open to the public. The palace was built in the 19th century and is an architectural masterpiece. It has the rectangular shape of a Riad with the fountain in the center and the rooms all around.

5. Travel in Marrakech - Explore the Ourika Valley

How about we get out of the city for a ride in the Ourika Valley. Located on the Atlas mountain range, Ourika is a very beautiful region about 40 km south east of Marrakech. We recommend a day trip for a guaranteed change of scenery and to discover another side of Morocco, the countryside.

6. Travel in Marrakech - Enjoy a Walk in the Palmeraie

An other nice tour outside the city is a stroll in the palm grove of Marrakech. It will take about half a day to enjoy this excursion. We will pick you up at your hotel and you will walk in the palm grove on the back of a dromedary, like a real nomad. There is also the possibility of quad biking following a very nice circuit.

7. Travel in Marrakech - Relax in a Hammam

After all these adventures, we think you will deserve a little rest, don't you think? And what could be better than a hammam session to let your muscles rest and relax in the warmth! Note that this activity also includes a one hour massage with argan oil. Isn't life beautiful?

8. Travel in Marrakech - Go out in the trendy clubs of the city

If you are a party animal, you will not be bored in Marrakech. Indeed, the clubs of the city have a world fame and the best DJs play there regularly. As for the best clubs, there is the renowned Theatro, but there is also the VIP Room which is nice. As for the bars, I love the So Lounge (Sofitel hotel) and the Pearl for its roof top.

9. Travel in Marrakech - Learn to cook a Moroccan Tajine

We could not leave without talking about the famous Moroccan cuisine with its delicious tagine. For those who do not know, the tagine is a traditional Berber dish and the "tagine" actually corresponds to the terracotta dish where food is stewed.
